Vice President, ITP, NTP
Marie has 37 years of experience in the title industry, all with the same employer, Pioneer Title Company of Bannock County. She is currently the title department manager and Assistant Vice President. Marie loves to research property and make sure her clients not only get the best service but also the best results.
She has achieved both her ITP and NTP designations and is extremely proud of them.
Taking an active role in the ILTA has been very rewarding, and her hope is that she can help others in our industry get more involved. Marie has served on the Education Committee for many years and is excited to be even more involved in what’s to come.
She is a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan and an even BIGGER Bon Jovi fan. Marie and her husband are the proud parents to 3 boys and have 8 grandchildren. They are looking forward to becoming great-grandparents in the summer of 2026.

Vice President
Matt Carey is a Vice President of ILTA and an Underwriter Counsel for the Fidelity National Title Group. He loves problem-solving and risk analysis, making him a perfect fit for the title world.
Matt has 20 years of experience in the industry. He appreciates how ILTA helps him and his colleagues stay on top of the latest industry trends and decisions that affect real estate, such as case law and new legislation at both the state and federal levels. When he’s not working, you may find Matt spending time with his wife and three corgis.

Vice President
Sam Johnson is an ILTA Vice President who is also the Senior Title Officer and Assistant to the Manager at Kootenai Title. He loves diving into the history of a property and uncovering how that specific piece of land has evolved over the years.
He also takes pride in the role he and his company play in building communities for future generations, especially for larger projects. As part of ILTA, Sam appreciates that he is on the frontline of issues impacting the title industry and the rest of the real estate world. When he’s not in the office or involved in ILTA, you may find Sam working on or driving his 370Z Nismo in preparation for his next time trial.

Vice President
Darci Davis is ILTA’s East Region Vice President. She has over two decades of experience in the title industry and is currently a Vice President and Division Escrow Manager for Futura Title.
She has always taken special pride in helping first-time homebuyers get to the finish line of their dream home. Darci says taking an active role in ILTA has given her more insight into Idaho’s legislative process and has reinforced the importance of having a good relationship with lawmakers and other government officials when advocating for our collective industry.
One thing you may not know about Darci? She loves steelhead fishing and calls it her favorite thing to do.

President
Bob Rice is the current ILTA President and Chair of our Legislative Committee. He’s also a Regional Counsel for the Title Resources Group and says his favorite part of title is helping agents get difficult deals done. In total, Bob has nearly 20 years of experience in the title world.
His favorite part of ILTA is the collective participation and inclusion of the group, and he invites anyone who wants to get more involved this year to do so! One tidbit you may not know about Bob? He’s the proud owner of a 7-year-old English Bulldog.

Past President
Brock Condie is the immediate Past President of ILTA and a member of our board. He also claims to be the biggest KISS fan you’ll ever meet. Brock has almost three decades of experience in the title industry and is currently the County Manager for Pioneer Title Company.
Brock values building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, partners and customers. He says being part of ILTA is a great reminder of the importance all title professionals play in the real estate world. He remains committed to sharing that message with our customers, communities and government officials by advocating for everyone in the Idaho title industry.

Vice President
Maria Houser is a Vice President of ILTA with a decade of experience in the title world. She’s the President and Manager of the Idaho County Title Company and an effective problem solver in every real estate transaction.
Maria says her time with ILTA has provided her with knowledge and insight into the importance of our industry. She also takes pride in leading a small title agency and says there’s never a “boring day “for her or the team. When she’s not at work or an ILTA event, Maria is probably out enjoying our state’s great natural beauty.
“I love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, boating, rafting, side-by-side riding, hunting or fishing,” she says. “If I’m not in the office, I’m most likely out of cell range enjoying the sights.”

First Vice President
Michelle Jirava is a Vice President of ILTA. She has more than 35 years of experience in the title industry, including the last 24 years with Flying S Title and Escrow. She is currently the Manager of the North Idaho Title Production Team and Assistant County Manager in Coeur d’Alene for Flying S Title.
Michelle loves exploring the history of property and providing buyers and sellers with a secure and smooth experience.
She appreciates her time with ILTA because it’s helped her build and strengthen relationships with colleagues across the state, as well as at the national level. Michelle says that while advocating for our industry sometimes pushes her out of her comfort zone, it’s incredibly rewarding.
Michelle is the mother of four grown children and has one grandchild and five “fur babies.” She also enjoys traveling and crafting.

ILTA Executive Director
John Holt is our do-everything executive director at ILTA. In addition to that role, John is the Secretary/Treasurer of our board and the Chair of our Liaison and Convention Committees.
He has 30 years of experience in the title industry and is currently serving as the vice president and Rocky Mountain Region Claims Manager for Old Republic Title. He takes pride in protecting the American Dream and believes being an active part of the title industry benefits himself, his company, his colleagues, his customers and everyone else involved.
“Being an active part of protecting our industry and helping improve our professionalism through education and liaising with our affiliated partners is very rewarding,” John says. When he’s not tackling all things title, John loves to travel with his wonderful wife and the rest of his family.
